Since the inception of its food processing and packaging division in l995, DEKIMAK has become an address for consultation in new investments. With our company’s motto QUALITY PRODUCT = QUALITY MACHINERY we have been able to represent very reputable European, mainly Italian, companies, delivered machines on time, according to correct specifications. While we have satisfied our customers’ needs without experiencing any problems, we have also provided an excellent service to the companies we represent, by marketing their products and making these brands widely known in the manufacturing sector.

DEKIMAK developed a network of contacts throughout Turkiye and has become a name as a trusted and reputable agent company. We have introduced and successfully sold our suppliers’ brands in the Turkish market with our dynamic, motivated and educated sales group.

Here I would like to offer you some information on my background. My professional experiences include being the Managing Director of CATERPILLAR in Turkiye and serving as the investment officer who made investment decisions around 55 million dollars only in the last two years for the ÇUKUROVA GROUP, the third largest holding in Turkiye. My independent work as an agent of British T.I. Tubes, IBH earth moving equipment, manufacturer and exporter of leather garments preceded my present function as the agent of Mannesmann of Germany, Vallourec of France and successfully pursuing activities in the Special Steels Division of DEKIMAK. In addition, being a politician, I played an important part in Mr. Demirel’s political comeback in the 90’s, I am one of the founders of President Demirel’s True Path Party, and I ran for a parliamentary seat. I have been chairing a group of citizens active in politics in the last 5 years. In addition to industrial and political exposure, in the sports area, I have played professional football for Galatasaray, took part Olympic Games in Rome with the national team and I have been on the Board of the Galatasaray club.

Since the last 14 years, my wife Serra and I have been working together and combining our international experience and knowledge of the Turkish marketplace. Serra has completed her B.S. in Business Administration and her M.B.A. at the University of North Carolina in USA. She has many years of international business experience as an accounting analyst in Burlington Industries, U.S.A. in the late 70’s. Her career continued by teaching and designing educational programs in Saudi Arabia, by teaching in business courses in universities in Switzerland, and by being the academic director of a business school, related to the University of Glamorgan of Wales, in Istanbul.

In the second half of the year 2007, new colleagues joined our marketing team. This expansion allowed us to include manufacturers of equipments for pharmaceutical, chemical and cosmetic industries to our supplier portfolio.

•Our company now employs 14 persons, with 6 people in sales who are constantly contacting our customers in person, by phone, or in writing.

•We have a 320-square-meter office space and we are located centrally in Istanbul with full computer capability and e-mail facilities.

•We have a carefully developed customer database of 3500 executives and investors for bakery, beverage, fresh and dry fruit and vegetable processing, meat processing, and packaging.

•Beginning with 2001, we have regularly invited potential customers to IPACK exhibitions held in Istanbul since participation in exhibitions in a big way has been the key in making a strong statement for the DEKIMAK family of companies. We have had an 800-square-meter stand at IPACK 2001, the biggest food and packaging exhibition in Turkiye. At these exhibitions, DEKIMAK regularly has full catering services, live music, a select group of young attractive bilingual or trilingual hostesses, video and wide screen presentations of the companies and most importantly a display of their machinery and equipment.

•14 companies from our portfolio of suppliers exhibited in INTERPACK 2008, Düsseldorf
between 24–30 April, and we are thankful for the great interest of our visitors from Turkiye. It was a beneficial and efficient show for all attendees.
